[review] Artbook: Bi-Color

Bi-Color by Fireangels, 18€, 110pages
So this is my own personal opinion, not more.
print and look: If you ask me the first artbook from fireangels is worth it 18€. It's printed in high gloss and A4, so it looks very good between all the japanese artbooks i have in my bookshelf.
content: The task was to do pictures in Black and White PLUS one additional color (or plain b/w) so that there wouldn't be such a heavy mix of colors and styles. And i must say it was a very good choice. It does not look to full or colorful and even stylish. The cover art makes it look very stylish.
Artworks: What i personally think is a minus is the typical Boy's Love pictures. Although there are some veryvery unique artworks with very outstanding style and ideas most images are the typical 2 guys or even feminine boys kissing or just headshots of them kissing or whatever. That motif may be okay for an image but not in an artbook there it just got overused and boring (my pics included ;_;). BUT that is a very small minus in my opinion. The use of all different kinds of colors to the b/w makes it up for that and also the nice ideas some artist had. It's also sorted by colors.
So overall i'd say byu it cause it's a very pretty thing. And it looks good in your shelf as i said. ^^~
