WOW! That's a really great and interesting article! (and absolutely right in my opinion) The Japanese - I experienced it myself - are very advanced but still sososo inflexible. If they don't hurry up and change that they will really fall behind :/

I think a lot of things about copyright - even that of artists and designers - needs to be rethinked today, especially with the internet.

I haven't thought it through to the final point, but I think we should stop thinking of art as a "product" we make and sell, but as a "service" we offer.
